Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule

The adventure starts with a drive towards Bhulbhule in the morning hours. Along the road, you’ll get to observe the stunning scenery of the Trisuli River’s with the charming terraced farms and villages. On the way, you’ll enjoy a delicious meal. You will eventually reach at Bhulbhule.

Day 02: Trek from Bhulbhule to Chamje

After breakfast, the journey advances to Chamje. Today the route follows a rough route that leads to a spectacular waterfall.
After that, you’ll be traversing the suspension bridge and proceed to Ngadi and Bahundanda. On continuing the trek, you’ll drop alongside the rushing Marsayangdi River.
Climb to Jagat after crossing the other suspension bridge. Ultimately, a short walk into the forests from Jagat will lead you to Chamje.

Day 03: Trek from Chamje to Dharapani

Today, the trail leads its way to captivating alpine forests of rhododendron via small and steep trails. Along the quest, you might see some native wildlife.
Then, you’ll traverse a suspension bridge over the Marsayangdi River, which is rushing. Ultimately, you’ll arrive in Tal, a delightful village. However, don’t rest until you reach Dharapani. You’ll have a magnificent view of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II.

Day 04: Trek from Dharapani to Koto

After a good breakfast, you’ll be on your way to Koto today. You will reach Bagarchhap after a half an hour grueling trek. After walking for some time, a phenomenal vista of Lamjung Himal (6,983 m), Manaslu (8,163 m), and Annapurna II (7,937 m) dazzle your eyes. Then you’ll proceed hiking into Manang valley, ascending until you reach Thanchowk.
Here onwards, you will start your steady ascent to Koto. Koto is a small settlement where the majority of people follow Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 05: Trek from Koto to Meta

Today, the trail follows the route through the army checkpoint. You’ll register your license at the checkpoint before reaching the secure area of Nar Phu Valley.
Next, you make your way down the Seti Khola shoreline, where you will come upon the well-known Dharmasala. With the continuous hike, you arrive at the Tibetan plateau’s Meta village. The wonderful panoramas of Lamjung Himal (6,983 m) and Annapurna II (7,937 m) are mesmerizing.

Day 06: Trek from Meta to Phu

Today’s trail leads you to Kyang, a pretty settlement with suspension bridges crossing a number of waterways. Afterward, proceed on a steep path along the Phu Khola till you enter Phu Gaon.
Along the walk, you come across sheep grazing. As soon as it reaches the renowned community of Phu through the shattered fort at the entryway, you will realize the influence of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 07: Acclimatization Day - Phu

It’s better to spend an acclimatization day in Phu due to the increase in altitude. You can hike up to Himlung Himal base camp or explore the town’s narrow lanes. Phu is a lovely settlement. A day spent observing the people spin yak and sheep wool, crush mustard seeds into a powder for oil, or experience their daily activities is well worth it.

Day 08: Trek from Phu valley to Nar

On this day, you’ll traverse two high passes, Phu Pass (5050m) and Nar Pass (5400m), which is the trek’s difficulty. To get to Mahendra Pul, you’ll have to travel to various rivers and suspension bridges. Afterward, 80 meters up a river gorge, pass across the massive suspension bridge.
The rest of the walk will get you over other Buddhist stupas until you reach Nar. The snow-capped mountains of Kanguru (6,981 m) and Nemjung (7,140 m) combine with the antique village’s mud and stone homes.

Day 09: Trek from Nar village to Ngawal via Kang La Pass

You will continue your journey towards Kang La Pass today early in the morning. You’re in for an arduous hike because the terrain is steep and surrounded in snowy moraines. The top of Kang La, on the other hand, offers a superb perspective of the Annapurna massif as well as the Kangla Himal Range.
Soon after you’ll descend a steep path via the moraines to a verdant path. Here onwards the route leads to Ngawal settlement. While arriving at Ngawal, you walk past a few monasteries.

Day 10: Trek from Ngawal to Pisang then Drive to Besisahar

The trail today descends to a lower section more than 2,000 m from the pass. Due to this, the weather becomes significantly hotter and the surroundings greener. Start off early for the final couple hours of walking to Pisang. The trail is broad and enjoyable, and it travels by a pristine lake just outside of Pisang. Hereafter, you’ll be traveling back to Besisahar on a drive.

Day 11: Drive from Beshisahar to Kathmandu
The journey to Nar Phu Valley is now complete. You’re on your way back to Kathmandu. It is aroud five hours drive away. While heading to Kathmandu, enjoy the magnificent drive across the hillsides. Enjoy a hot shower and the city’s amenities once you arrive.

However, the finest seasons for this trek are in the spring and autumn. In October, November, December, February, March, and April, you will have an exceptional adventure. Accommodation and Meals
The Nar Phu Valley Trek provides a huge range of accommodation options. Staying in basic but decent hotels is an alternative in Besisahar. Since this is not a well-developed trekking route, lodge amenities are very often poor. The local monastery in Nar Phedi serves as lodging. Meals in the smaller settlements varies from modest but acceptable meals to regular trekker meals in the larger towns, including treats like dessert.
