A Korean citizen who came to visit the Everest region has fallen and died.

According to the District Police Office, 47-year-old Hyunchal Swang from Korea is the deceased.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Shrestha, he fell and died on February 28 in Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-4 while returning from climbing the Olympic mountain. According to the police, Hyunchal slipped from the road and fell down about two meters.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Shrestha informed that the body of the deceased, who was rescued by helicopter and brought to Lukla, has been sent to Kathmandu Teaching Hospital for autopsy after completing the legal process. It is said that the deceased Heunchal came to Khumbu for mountain climbing on February 21. Mount Everest is famous for Everest Base Camp Trekking, Everest Expedition and so on.
